Another great, action-packed day for Team Sables Nua....sightseeing in beautiful West Clare...swimming in the Atlantic Ocean... high-speed boat trip ..... radio interviews.....tour of Kilkee Fire Station......a wonderful visit to Moyasta National School......the list goes on!
What great scenes there were in Dublin Airport when our Team Sables arrived to be greeted by Judo Ireland, Zamda and Zambians in Ireland Association. Tired after their long, long journey, the Sables Nua crew were nonetheless delighted at the reception and are looking forward to the next few weeks in Ireland.
We currently have spaces on our volunteer trip to Zambia for next year 2023. The group of 14 people max will fly to Zambia on Friday 30th March and will return on Friday 14th of April. Zambia Judo Association athletes set for Ausc Region 5 games to be held in Lilongwe, Malawi. The games are to start on 2nd - 10th December, 2022. The team comprises of 18 athletes both cadets and juniors of the national team. Wish them the best of luck. We Are Zambia Judo
It's time to start preparing the next generation of Sables Nua soccer players so coach Kapeya and Coach Brian have begun the process with an intensive course with our G5s, girls and boys. Over the coming months a new team will take shape. The future is secure!
Our Junior Chefs are learning all sorts of tips from Master Chef Bestine. Today's class was in making a fruit salad: no such thing as chopping up some fruit and tossing it into a bowl - much better to hollow out a water melon and fill it with finely chopped fresh, straight off the trees,
Great to have so many drop in to Sables for a nice active Sunday - arts and crafts, playpark, trampolining and, of course , a nice lunch!
Some of our lads donned PPE and took to giving the artwork around Sables Nua a bit of a facelift! They did a good job too!
