What personal data we collect and why we collect it

If you make an online donation we will collect you personal data (name, address, email, donation amount and date/time ) in order to validate your donation. We use 3rd party suppliers to process your credit card details but we never have direct access to your credit card details. We may also collect your personal data via contact forms where you have provided it to us.

Contact forms

The data we collect via Contact Forms is expressly for the purposes of responding to visitor queries and is never used for marketing or supplied to 3rd parties.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

For users that register on our website for a donation, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. We retain this account information for as long as the account is active which may be indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We may hold your contact information where you have made an online donation to the website for a period of 1 year. We will not use this data to market to you or share with 3rd parties.
