Wonderful Day in Sables Nua! We had a double celebration today - a welcome for our visitors plus our Graduation Ceremony for our Grade Seven class. We began with a 'march-past' led by the band of the Boys' Brigade, we had singing and dancing, speeches, presentation of prizes and certificates and even some tears!

Zambia, aka Sables Nua, looking suspiciously like Shamrock Rovers, defeated the touring Irish, looking suspiciously like Na Fianna, in a volleyball international this afternoon to retain the trophy for the third time! Zambia triumphed 2-1 in a thriller!
Sables Nua was delighted and honoured to welcome His Excellency Séamus O'Grady, Ireland's Ambassador to Zambia and Madam Miyanda Kwambwa of the embassy staff today.
